Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Commercial Installer to work onsite with our commercial customers to set up and program their Integrated Security fire and security systems. The role also involves dismantling and reconstructing equipment as needed.

You will install devices, follow wiring diagrams, coordinate with police and fire departments, and may manage installation teams on larger projects while mentoring junior installers.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, diagrams, submittals and schematics.
• Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.
• Licensing as required by codes; technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install devices and service Johnson Controls Security Solutions per schematics.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment as required.
• Follow wiring diagrams and hookup procedures; test system operation.
• Coordinate installations with police/fire departments and notify on emergencies.
• Mentor and coach less experienced installers; may lead installation teams on large projects.
