Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 3–5 years of experience as an entry level technician or related industry.
• OSHA-10 hour certification.
• Efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with company software, data entry, and basic MS Word/Excel.
• Excellent customer service skills for internal and external customers.
• Able to operate hand and power tools and climb ladders.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Lift and safety certifications (lift, confined space, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Install project devices per applicable codes and specifications.
• Mentor, train and coach entry level technicians on sites.
• Program and set up security, CCTV, access, nurse call, or alarm systems via software.
• Troubleshoot system failures and diagnose causes.
• Inspect systems and identify necessary repairs; recommend maintenance.
• Read and analyze blueprints and drawings.
• Coordinate with project manager and other trades to complete work on time.
• Ensure contractors' work complies with state and local codes.
• Maintain and organize tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and report hazards.
