Job summary

Vector Security in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Senior Systems Technician to install and service complex residential and commercial security solutions, including wired and wireless systems. You will troubleshoot network-related issues and assist with basic integration, while mentoring junior techs on site.

The role requires strong communication, basic understanding of access control and video surveillance, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of field experience; 5 years preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
• ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent – preferred
• NICET Fire or Video Level 1 – preferred
• Must communicate professionally with customers
• Must understand technical functionality of various systems

Responsibilities

• Install commercial security systems (wired and wireless) with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot complex systems and network issues; basic integration.
• Run and conceal wiring; configure system functionality for customers.
• Keep job sites clean and organized, ensuring safety.
• Mentor and train entry-level and Level 1 technicians on systems.
