Job summary

Securitas Technology Corporation is seeking an Installation Technician II in Union City, CA. The role focuses on installing and servicing intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems at customer sites, with responsibilities spanning wiring, equipment setup, and security system testing.

Applicants should have 2–3 years of relevant field experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and multiple certifications in video/Access Control; vocational degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a minimum of 2-3 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Run electrical wiring in confined spaces, including drilling, trenching, and aerial work.
• Complete system wiring and equipment setup to meet customer and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and equipment delivery.
• Test and troubleshoot new installations to ensure functionality and code compliance.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety and cost guidelines.
• Foster positive customer relationships and support contract retention.
• Handle proprietary information and documentation percompanypolicies.
• Stay current with product and technology updates through ongoing training.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred
