Job summary

Securitas Technology, based in Rochester, NY, is seeking an Installation Technician to service and install intrusion, fire, CCTV and access control systems at client sites. You will handle wiring, testing and on-site coordination with project leaders to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma (tech training preferred), and the ability to lift 75 pounds and climb ladders to 24 ft.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years installing or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• IP video and IT experience are assets for this role.

Responsibilities

• Installs intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
• Run electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and confined spaces.
• Complete wiring, connections, and equipment installations per requirements.
• On-site scheduling with team lead or project manager for timely delivery.
• Conducts tests to ensure systems are operational and compliant with codes.
• Assist with on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
