Job summary

Securitas Technology, a global provider of integrated security solutions, seeks an Installation Technician to service and install intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems at customer sites across California. You will run wiring, perform tests, and ensure compliance with codes while maintaining safety and professional standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred NICET/IP/IT experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred
• NICET Certification preferred
• IP Video and IT experience preferred
• Ability to climb ladders up to 24 ft and lift up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities

• Installs intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems at customer sites.
• Run electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces.
• Complete wiring, connections, and equipment installations per customer and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Installation Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and delivery.
• Conduct tests to ensure systems and devices are operational after installation.
• Troubleshoot new installations to meet codes and insurance requirements.
• Present a professional image in person and in vehicle appearance.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain proper documentation and proprietary information.
