Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years installing access control, CCTV, or related electronic systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and thorough knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Strong electronics knowledge and ability to use digital multimeters.
• Knowledge of IP, Ethernet, and networking basics.
• Experience with door hardware and building codes for construction, fire, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures that systems are installed properly and on time according to procedures.
• Provides feedback to identify barriers to timely project execution.
• Communicates with managers and Project Manager to resolve issues.
• Provides regular progress updates to stakeholders.
• Documents completed work accurately.
• Maintains inventory for vehicles and projects; performs counts as needed.
• Maintains company-owned vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Oversees the performance of assigned team members.
• Coaches team on installation procedures and quality standards; reports issues.
• Maintains building keys and coordinates with customers and contractors.
• Keeps up-to-date on Kastle services, technology, and internal processes.
