Job description

We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Installer to join our team and install complex integrated security systems for clients.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring, equipment, and program access control, CCTV, digital recorders, network recorders, and intercom systems.
• Install cables, field equipment, and control equipment enclosures in customer locations following the national electric code, company, and customer guidelines.
• Use electronic test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve complicated installation issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and operational manuals.
• Set up, test, and perform system checks for proper operation.
• Mount and secure equipment using hand and power tools; feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls; drill holes in wall studs, joists, ceilings, and floors.
• Conduct end‑user training on installed systems.
• Isolate customer network issues where applicable.

Qualifications

• Significant background (3+ years) in Digital & Analog Camera Systems.
• Significant background (3+ years) in Access Control Systems.
• Understanding of security and fire alarm systems.
• Experience (2+ years) with IP addressable security devices.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; associate degree or 2‑year technical school graduate preferred.
• Advanced TCP/IP networking skills; computer literate.
• Must be able to operate a company truck with an acceptable driving record.
• Proficient with all aspects of card access and CCTV systems.
• Can work unsupervised, self‑motivated, and strong communication skills.
• Must possess a Tennessee REAL ID and be able to work in government facilities.
• Specialized training/certification in Access Control (Kantech, Lenel, C‑Cure 800 or 9000), CCTV (Bosch, etc.), intrusion, fire, and related systems.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly rate: $18.00 - $28.59, determined by CBA/rate sheet.
