Job summary

Coastal is seeking a Security Installation & Service Technician APPRENTICE to join our team. As an apprentice, you will travel to various locations and job sites with an experienced technician and learn to install or repair security systems based on customer specifications and location restrictions.

This role covers burglary & fire alarm systems, surveillance cameras, install smart locks, access control, speakers, and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to use hand tools (power drills, cutters, etc.)
• Climb ladders and lift at least 40 lbs.
• Background check will be performed before hiring.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various locations and learn 'on the job' daily
• Assist in troubleshooting problems in security systems and make repairs or replacements
• Assist in installing new security systems including electronic locks, thermostats, alarms, CCTVs, and more
• Help to maintain equipment and restock vehicles and supplies as needed
• Maintain accurate logs of work completed through our software
• Rotate phone call emergency tech support with other security technicians (about 1 week per month)
