Job summary

Y-12 National Security Complex seeks a Security Systems Engineering Manager to lead the lifecycle management of critical physical security systems protecting classified materials. You will oversee planning, scheduling, and performance assessments to ensure reliability and compliance with government directives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• Understanding of physical/alarm security systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience in management, electrical engineering, security systems, configuration management and assessments.
• Knowledge of Y-12 facility and CNS/NNSA security procedures is desired.
• Hardware/software solution design, development and implementation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan, and schedule Physical Security Systems personnel for installation, integration, and maintenance.
• Ensure operational readiness, performance testing, and preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Track lifecycle replacements and site outages affecting security systems.
• Interface with NNSA Field Office, Vulnerability Assessment, Infrastructure & Services, Engineering, Cyber Security, PM and Production.
