Job summary

Consolidated Nuclear Security seeks a Security Systems Engineering Manager to lead the lifecycle management and operation of Y-12 physical security systems. The role focuses on installation, integration, maintenance, and timely completion of missions under government directives.

You will manage a team, coordinate cross-organizational interfaces, and drive readiness and performance across mission-critical assets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field required.
Strong understanding of physical/alarm security systems.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Experience in management, electrical engineering, security systems domain, configuration management, and assessments preferred.
Knowledge of CNS Y-12 and NNSA/DOE security procedures/regulations desired.

Responsibilities

Manage the Y-12 Security Systems Department lifecycle of security assets.
Plan, schedule, and supervise Physical Security Systems personnel.
Ensure operability, readiness, and timely completion of projects and lifecycle replacements.
Monitor performance metrics and coordinate 24/7 technical support for assigned systems.
Interface with NNSA Field Office, Vulnerability Assessment, Cyber Security, and other groups.
