Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer (T01) or Systems Engineer (T02) to support the Sentinel program in Roy, Utah. The role focuses on STPA-Sec using MBSE to uncover safety, security, and availability features.

Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree with 1–2 years of related experience, and must maintain a Secret clearance with SAP eligibility. A relocation package may be offered.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with active Secret clearance at time of application
• Ability to obtain SAP approval within a reasonable period
• Basic understanding of SSE principles and safety thinking
• Ability to apply analytical methodologies to raw data to produce findings and recommendations

Responsibilities

• Execute traditional Systems Engineering with STPA-Sec MBSE approach
• Decompose systems to identify causal scenarios and unsafe actions
• Assess threats, vulnerabilities and risk for mission-critical functions
• Lead completion of SOW requirements and program milestones
• Support MDT with other duties as assigned
