Job summary

BCM Controls Corporation is seeking a skilled Security System Installation Technician to install, configure, and commission access control, CCTV, intercom, and integrated security systems across commercial sites.

You will work with Genetec, S2/Lenel, Software House, Exacq, Milestone, and Bosch platforms, reading blueprints and wiring diagrams to ensure precise, high‑quality installations. A MA D license (or in progress) is required, with Rhode Island licensing a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years low voltage experience.
• 2+ years installing access control & CCTV systems.
• Massachusetts D License (or in process).
• Rhode Island low voltage license a plus.
• Proficiency with IP video and access control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission access control, CCTV, intercom, and integrated security systems.
• Work with major platforms including Genetec, S2/Lenel, Software House, Exacq, Milestone, Gallagher, DSX, Bosch.
• Install associated hardware, wiring, conduit, and electronic locking hardware.
• Represent BCM on job sites and maintain quality standards.
• Create and manage installation punch lists and document work performed.
• Collaborate with project managers, customers, and colleagues for smooth installations.
