Job summary

Bally’s Lake Tahoe is seeking a Security Supervisor responsible for assigning and overseeing Security Officers, evaluating performance, and maintaining training records at our Stateline, NV property. The role emphasizes emergency response, incident reporting, and cross-department coordination to ensure the highest guest experience.

• Determine Security Officer assignments and establish priorities.
• Observe and evaluate Security Officers for alertness, appearance, and proper performance and to correct deficiencies.
• Inspect and evaluate incident reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain current individual training records of Officers.
• Report all incidents to the Manager of Security or other necessary department heads.
• Install and remove lockouts, as requested by Hotel/Front Desk Management.
• Respond to emergency situations and take control at the scene.
• Coordinate with other departments and outside agencies on all matters of concern.
• Promote Customer Service throughout all areas of responsibility; handle guest complaints and concerns.
• Performs other related duties as requested by the Director of Security.
• Responsible for the supervision of the Security department.
• Hiring and training; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining staff, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Two or more years of relevant law enforcement or corporate security supervisory experience, with increasing levels of responsibility and supervision. Prior law enforcement experience is desirable.
