Job summary

Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City seeks a Security Supervisor to supervise, plan, and schedule security activities for Security Officers under management direction.

The role includes supervising shift security operations, assigning tasks, handling incidents, training officers, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance for customers, staff, and assets within a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years' experience in casino security or law enforcement.
• One year supervisory experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient at investigating incidents and report writing.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Computer related experience.
• Must have a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations of the Security Department on an assigned shift and area.
• Assign work to Security Officers and establish priorities.
• Respond to non-routine incidents in a supervisory capacity.
• Supervise and evaluate Security reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure incidents are thoroughly investigated and proper notifications are made.
• Train Security personnel on shift.
• Conduct follow-up investigations on reports as directed.
• Maintain professional conduct with employees, customers, and the public.
• Ensure Casino Control Commission regulations are met by all Security personnel.
• Recommend changes to improve Security operations.
• Complete incident reports for incidents on property.
• Comply with all New Jersey regulatory requirements.
