Job summary

Tulsa Zoo Management, Inc. seeks a Security Supervisor to co-supervise a security team, ensuring safety for guests, staff, and animals. You will enforce policies, respond to incidents, and manage records and security operations around the clock.

The role requires 21+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends/evenings. It offers comprehensive benefits and a mission-driven workplace at a major regional attraction.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from college or university and 1–2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff by enforcing security policies.
• Co-supervise security personnel to protect property, guests, employees and animals.
• Serve as first responder in incidents including CPR/AED/first aid and incident management.
• Record incidents and injuries, and provide timely reports to management.
• Oversee security base coverage, patrols, and access control systems.
• Provide security for private and special events when requested.
• Assist with investigations and scheduling vendors when needed.
• Supervise and discipline direct reports in collaboration with the Director of Safety & Security.
