Job summary

Moorings Park is seeking a dedicated Security Supervisor to join our Naples campus. This role leads the security team, oversees daily operations, and ensures adherence to policies to keep residents and staff safe.

The ideal candidate has prior security supervisory experience and a Florida CPR certification. Join our mission to provide exceptional care and a secure, welcoming environment at Moorings Park.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a security supervisor.
• Active Florida CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24-hour security coverage through adequate staffing and supervision.
• Supervise and monitor security personnel to ensure compliance with directives and procedures.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and discipline security staff; maintain certifications.
• Review staff time sheets and correct errors.
• Conduct safety training and complete incident reports per procedures.
• Investigate missing items, accidents, and employee-related issues; maintain records and logs.
• Process badges for employees and vendors; verify licenses and insurance for vendors.

Position Summary

Moorings Park is seeking a dedicated and talented Security Supervisor to join our team. The Security Supervisor is responsible for the implementation & supervision of the security services of Moorings Park

Key Contributions

• Ensures staffing requirements are adequate to provide 24-hour security coverage.
• Supervises & monitors work of security personnel to ensure compliance with directives & established procedures.
• Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates, & disciplines security staff & ensures required certification or licensure is up to date.
• Reviews staff time sheets & corrects any errors.
• Conducts necessary safety training & completes employee incident reports according to established procedures
• Conducts investigations regarding missing items, accidents, employee related issues, etc.
• Ensures necessary supplies for security office operations are always adequate.
• Maintains necessary records & logs as assigned by the Director of Life Safety & Security.
• Orders, distributes, & monitors resident, employee & visitor passes.
• Monitors security, nurse call system, & fire alarm systems taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Receives calls & dispatches appropriate personnel, when necessary, to handle emergencies.
• Monitors traffic entering Moorings Park in an efficient & courteous manner & if necessary, contacts residents or staff to authorize admission of visitors or guests. Operates switchboard when necessary, receiving & transferring calls.
• Processes badges for all employees & vendors.
• Ensures vendor licenses & insurance is adequate & current.
