The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, is seeking a Security Supervisor to manage and develop the front-line uniformed security team, including monitors and advisors. This role reports to the Security Operations Manager and focuses on safety, discipline, and professional growth.
You will schedule shifts, coordinate training, respond to emergencies, and communicate clearly with the Public Safety Emergency Communications Center.
The Security Supervisor is a uniformed, non-sworn representative of the Department of Public Safety. The Security Supervisor is responsible for direct management, discipline, development, and safety of University Security's front-line, uniformed employees. This includes Security Monitors, Security Advisors, and Lead Security Advisors. This position reports to the Security Operations Manager within the University of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety (DPS).
