Job summary

EAST Miami is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead on-site security, guiding on-duty personnel and coordinating daily assignments to safeguard guests and team members.

You’ll conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and write detailed reports while maintaining strong communication with hotel leadership. A team-oriented, energetic professional with English fluency fits best.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years security experience in a supervisory capacity
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Preferred: Class D License
• Preferred: CPR certification

Key Responsibilities

Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:

• Supervise all on-duty security personnel, including dispatcher. Coordinate job assignments and ensure that each officer is briefed on the day’s activities. Compile information and file written reports
• Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect all hotel assets. Answer house calls, assist guests and employees with respect to safety, security and hotel operations. Initiate and follow-up all investigations of crimes committed against property and persons. Assist sick and injured guests and employees, ensuring documentation and disposition of reports.
• Initiate investigations, write incident and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors and employees, documenting all contacts.
• Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.

Requirements

• Have 3-5 years security experience in a supervisory related capacity
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English
• Able t work independently and as a team
