Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead safety operations and protect our residents and colleagues. You will supervise the security team, patrol the community, monitor access points, and coordinate with local responders while maintaining detailed logs and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of security experience, with strong communication and leadership skills.

The Security Supervisor provides leadership and hands‑on support to ensure a safe, secure and welcoming environment for residents, guests and team members. What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and support security team members in daily operations
• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds and parking areas
• Monitor doors, gates and access points for safety and security
• Investigate incidents, complete reports and respond to emergencies
• Coordinate with local police, fire and emergency responders as needed
• Enforce safety protocols, OSHA standards and risk management policies
• Secure and unlock community areas per policy
• Assist residents with after‑hours escorts and package delivery
• Maintain security logs, equipment inventory and daily documentation
• Support transportation needs when required
• Coach, train and develop security team members

What We’re Looking For:

• High School diploma or GED required
• 3+ years related security or safety experience preferred
• Strong communication and report‑writing skills
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergency situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security documentation systems
• Strong organizational, leadership and problem‑solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (if applicable)

Pay Range: 17.30 - 21.70
