Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living, LLC is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for residents, guests, and staff. You will patrol properties, respond to alarms, investigate incidents, and complete security logs while ensuring doors and access points remain secure.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 2+ years of related security experience. Strong communication, judgment, and basic computer skills are essential for daily operations and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related security experience preferred.
• Strong judgment, decision-making and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and access points.
• Respond to alarms, security calls, and on-site emergencies.
• Investigate and document incidents or suspicious activity.
• Complete daily Security Logs and incident reports.
• Monitor fire safety, hazards, and unsecured areas.
• Assist with emergency response procedures.
• Escort residents and team members after hours.
• Support OSHA and infection control compliance.
• Secure and unlock areas per policy.
