Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc, based in the United States, is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and team members. The role involves patrolling properties, inspecting access points, responding to alarms, and documenting incidents.

You will support emergency procedures, monitor safety hazards, and escort residents after hours. Valid driver’s license may be required; HS diploma/GED and 2+ years’ related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED; age 18+
• 2+ years related experience preferred
• Strong judgment and decision‑making skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Valid driver’s license (if required)

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and access points
• Respond to alarms, security calls, and on-site emergencies
• Investigate and document incidents or suspicious activity
• Complete daily Security Logs and incident reports
• Monitor fire safety, hazards, and unsecured areas
• Assist with emergency response procedures
• Escort residents and team members after hours
• Support OSHA and infection control compliance
• Secure and unlock areas per policy
