Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, law enforcement, security management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of classified matter protection, physical/information security, cyber basics, protective forces, and asset protection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; strong administrative and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with high attention to detail.
• U.S. citizenship and active Q/TS security clearance. Consent to background checks is required.
• Pre-employment and ongoing reviews and tests for absence of illegal substances are required for ongoing DOE site access.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, conducting, and documenting DOE surveys and security reviews.
• Support development of annual survey schedules, LOIs, ratings, and topical reports.
• Ensure proper handling, classification review, and retention of survey materials.
• Provide technical, administrative, and publication support to deliverables.
• Coordinate with procurement, contracting, HSOs, personnel security, and contractors for FOCI actions.
• Manage facility registration and updates in SSIMS; coordinate reciprocity and CSCS actions.
• Provide guidance to DOE HQ, field offices, and contractor security personnel.
