Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state/local licensure and/or other legal requirements.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks.

• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.

• Promote a physical security culture and keep standards for safety and security.
• Respond to security incidents promptly and document them in the case management system.
• Use de‑escalation tactics and Target's video surveillance system when appropriate.
• Conduct merchandise theft recoveries and support theft apprehension per AP policies.
