Job summary

Target is seeking a Target Security Specialist in Rancho Cucamonga to help protect guests and team members while maintaining a safe shopping environment. You will greet guests, handle safety incidents, and support theft prevention efforts with a calm, service-oriented approach.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends. Training will be provided to learn internal procedures and devices used for security operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 40 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with finding items or resolving issues.
• Use de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe and friendly store environment.
• Document security incidents in the case management system promptly.
• Monitor and operate Target's video surveillance systems as directed.
• Assist with theft prevention and merchandise recovery per AP policies.
