Job summary

Target is seeking a Security Specialist to help protect guests, team members, and the brand across stores. The role involves ensuring safe and secure store environments, documenting incidents, and supporting merchandise protection efforts.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and can work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Training and development opportunities are available as part of a larger Target security program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
• Learn and adapt to current technology needs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests and team members at the front of store and on the sales floor.
• Lead a physical security culture by maintaining safe and secure standards throughout the store.
• Respond to and accurately document security incidents.
• Understand and leverage escalation tools to provide a safe environment for guests and team members.
• Train team members on merchandise protection and audit execution.
