Target is hiring a Security Specialist to support Assets Protection in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help keep guests, team members, and the brand secure while delivering an excellent guest experience.

The role requires de-escalation skills, strong communication, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Training and a safety‑minded culture are emphasized across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology equipment as directed.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming guest experience and assist guests in finding what they need.
• Greet guests and engage in warm, helpful interactions at various distances.
• Help resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience and thank guests at checkout.
• Respond to incidents and document them accurately in case management systems.
• Promote store safety and security practices and work with team members to keep guests and staff safe.
