Target is seeking a Security Specialist in Amarillo, TX. You will help keep guests, team members and the brand safe while delivering a friendly shopping experience.

This role requires de-escalation, incident documentation, and use of Target's video surveillance system. Training is provided to develop skills in crisis response, safety, and theft prevention, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet state or local licensure requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment.
