You will engage with guests, maintain security standards, and document incidents using Target's case management system. Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or legal requirements.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplishing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments: greet, assist guests, and resolve issues.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Promote a physical security culture and maintain safe standards throughout the store.
• Respond to and document security incidents in a timely manner.
• Appropriately respond to guest issues to provide a safe environment.
• Use de-escalation tactics and resources as needed across the store.
• Conduct merchandise theft recoveries and provide theft apprehension support.
• Perform merchandise receipt checks and communicate trends to prevent loss.
• Document all incidents in the case management system per policy.
