Job summary

KBR is seeking a Security Specialist/AFSO to join our National Security Solutions team at Colorado Springs, CO. The role requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and involves implementing security programs, handling collateral and SCI materials, and coordinating with government agencies.

You will manage day-to-day security operations onsite, conduct training, oversee SEAD-3 reporting, COMSEC, and prepare DD 254s while ensuring strict adherence to NISPOM, ICDs and

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required with upgrade to TS/SCI eligibility.
• 3–5+ years as a Security Professional.
• Associate's degree or higher; relative experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Familiarity with NISPOM, ICDs, EO/DoD security directives.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and operate a comprehensive security program compliant with US government policies.
• Administer daily security operations of the Colorado Springs facility and offsite locations.
• Provide initial security training and briefings (NATO, etc.).
• Track SEAD-3 requirements (pre/post foreign travel) and reporting.
• Support physical security: badging, access control, alarms, and incident response.
• Coordinate with government agencies and program security officers.
• Assist with DD Form 254s and other classification guidance.
• Manage COMSEC responsibilities and secure equipment inventories.
• Lead container custody and classified material handling and shipping.
• Maintain personnel security records in DISS/SWFT/NISS and eAPP.
