Job summary

KBR is seeking a Security Controls Assessor (SCA) Representative to support RMF/CSF compliance for USSF programs in Colorado Springs, CO. The role includes conducting independent assessments of security controls, developing Security Assessment Reports, and coordinating A&A events to ensure secure operation of complex aerospace systems.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of Linux experience, strong RMF/CSF knowledge, and a TS/SCI clearance eligible for SAP/SAR.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and eligible for SAP/SAR (U.S. citizen).
• 5 years of Linux experience in implementation/principles/administration.
• Strong knowledge of RMF/CSF processes and documentation to confirm risk levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent comprehensive assessments of security controls within IT systems to determine effectiveness.
• Apply RMF/CSF principles to development of integrated weapon systems.
• Conduct assessment and authorization events to support recommendations based on requirements and impact levels.
• Develop Security Assessment Reports to support Authorization to Operate decisions.
• Full-time role with 40-hour work week and travel 20–50%.
