Job summary

KBR Information Security Officer role in Colorado Springs is onsite. You will architect and implement cyber solutions, act as a government cybersecurity advisor, and drive RMF/NIST conformance across DoD systems.

The position requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD RMF experience, and hands-on work with Kubernetes, cloud security, and incident response. On-site work with a mission-focused team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Security clearance: Active TS/SCI; eligible for SAP.
• BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; other degrees considered with relevant experience.
• Four+ years applying RMF with NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs, SCAP and IAVAs.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop and implement cyber solutions to meet warfighter needs.
• Serve as a cybersecurity advisor to the Government.
• Analyze customer requirements and identify cybersecurity needs.
• Maintain understanding of the organization’s technology landscape.
• Create documentation for systems, enclaves, apps, and SOPs.
• Oversee RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and STIG alignment with DoD mandates.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and manage incident response workflows.
• Support security documentation and continuous monitoring per FISMA.
• Load/manage cryptographic keys for HAIPE devices.
• Support cyber audits, ATO packages, and continuous compliance.
