U.S. Government Publishing Office in Washington, DC seeks a Security Specialist at the PG-0080-12 level to support agency force protection.
The role requires experience with physical security systems, including access control, CCTV/NVR, and security procedures aligned with agency policies. The ideal candidate will configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise access control solutions, manage system health and permissions, and perform field device termination and preventive maintenance.

To qualify for the Security Specialist, PG-0080-12, you must meet the following requirements:
You must have one year of specialized experience in the PG-11 level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
