TRISTAR seeks a Technical Writer to support the Security Division at NSWC Crane. The role focuses on documenting, standardizing, and maintaining Security SOPs, local instructions, and governance documents, while collaborating with government personnel and subject-matter experts to ensure compliant security program execution.

You will develop training materials, risk assessment documentation, and governance narratives; provide data management support and prepare execution reports using MS Project

Qualificações

• Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain/maintain).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Experience writing technical documentation, preferably in security, defense, or government environments.
• Ability to translate complex security processes into clear, actionable documentation.
• Strong understanding of security program elements such as physical security, emergency response, risk assessments, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs, government personnel, and project managers.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, prepare, and maintain program/project execution reports, including Microsoft Project plans and Excel-based reporting tools.
• Prepare presentations and briefing materials for reviews and stakeholder updates.
• Provide database support and assist with data management for specified systems.
• Support administrative and managerial tasks related to technical manuals, drawings, and other technical data.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and provide comments as required, subject to Government approval.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining technical data tracking systems/tools and support the control and dissemination of materials.
