Job summary

Tri-County Steel LLC (TCS) seeks a skilled Technical Writer to support a customer at NSWC Crane. This role focuses on creating, editing, and formatting technical documentation and instructional content that complies with military and industry standards, while supporting test data analysis tied to range testing activities.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and editing technical documents to required standards.
• Ability to translate engineering data into clear, structured documentation.
• Proficient with Arbortext Editor and XML.
• Experience in a DoD/defense documentation environment.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear, accurate documentation such as manuals, SOPs, and guidance materials.
• Read, proofread, edit, and format documents, routing for approval.
• Maintain routing lists and project folders; finalize documents and files.
• Create and format graphics, charts, and diagrams for docs.
• Support validation events and meetings; manage records and meetings minutes.
