Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor for a Jersey City site in New Jersey. The role focuses on supervising security staff on a night shift (Midnight–8AM, Sunday–Wednesday) with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour.

The supervisor will coordinate with the site team, ensure service quality, and handle crisis and reporting tasks. Requirements include being at least 18, holding a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience), strong communication and customer

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare reports and logs in neat handwriting.
• Must read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.
• Background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of security services on a shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager, and officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within empowerment range.
• Prepare and maintain written reports and logs.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
