Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring Security Shift Supervisors for a pharmaceutical client site in Cambridge, MA. Pay is $26.00/hour with multiple shift options.

Responsibilities include supervising Security Officers, ensuring post orders, coaching staff, coordinating with management, and filing required reports. The role requires strong leadership, customer service, and the ability to adapt to various posts and schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years of related security experience.
• Retail security experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of security operations, supervision, and reporting.
• Ability to coach, discipline, and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Functions as supervisor of security personnel at client site(s) and ensures post orders are followed.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; documents actions and outcomes.
• Trains staff; reviews post orders and assignment details.
• Assists in payroll and personnel information submissions.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions with management.
• Prepares and submits required reports; inspects posts and communicates with subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and deliver quality service.
• Performs supervisory duties such as interviewing, orienting, training, and evaluating staff; may hire/terminate as needed.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as required.
