Job summary

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Cambridge, MA. Shift: Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM. Starting pay is $24.15 per hour, with paid orientation and training.

Candidates should have 2+ years of security experience and will supervise on-shift services, serving as a liaison between site staff and Account Manager/Field Operations Manager. Strong communication and report-writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat handwriting.
• Must read and understand operating procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with driving experience and clean record.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly.
• Lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift.
• Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
