Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor at $24.50 per Hour. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the security of a high-profile client’s facility, property, and surrounding campus for a designated shift. The role involves performing general security duties, enforcing policies, and deterring criminal activity.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding their duties.
• Cross-train officers to improve versatility and site efficiency.
• Recommend productivity and cost reductions to management.
• Suggest physical security surveys and post orders.
• Make personnel action recommendations for staff under supervision.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and training for security officers on shift.
• Ensure training and screening requirements are met.
• Maintain overtime at a minimum or as designated.
• Inspect security personnel and their performance regularly.
• Perform additional operational functions such as payroll, incident reports, and security surveys.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing as required by local laws.
• Valid driver’s license.
• One or more of the following: Associate’s degree, military service, police cadet, or at least one year of security experience.
• Minimum two years of security-related work demonstrating excellent customer service, poise, and report writing skills.
• Effective communication, planning, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Active listening and conflict mediation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Emergency Management Systems FEMA Incident Command Certification (ICO 100, 200, 300).
• Knowledge of EMS protocols or medical emergency response training.
