Job summary

Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Shift Leader - Security to oversee the security operations during the assigned shift, ensuring the safety of staff, patients, visitors and property. The role provides leadership and direction to the security team, coordinating responses across the hospital.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent, an associate degree preferred, BLS/CPR, and at least 2 years in a security role; hospital security and leadership

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred; must obtain within 2 years.
• BLS/CPR required upon hire or within 30 days.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a security department.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency with surveillance cameras, access control systems, and communication equipment.
• Preferred: hospital security department experience; management or leadership experience.
