Job summary

Rosie’s Gaming Emporium – Richmond in Richmond, VA is seeking a Security Shift Manager to lead the security team, ensure guest safety, and respond to incidents under the direction of the Security Director.

You will manage daily security operations on assigned shifts, supervise officers, maintain records, coordinate with first responders, and train staff while upholding company policies and delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in customer service, law enforcement, military, or security.
• One year in supervisory role preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain valid racing license, where applicable.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a minimum of three years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level guest service to guests, team members, and vendors.
• Manage daily activities of Security staff for shifts.
• Schedule rotation of officers across posts.
• Maintain performance, team member, and operational records.
• Oversee the security of the property and assets.
• Ensure safety of guests, team members, and property; suggest improvements.
• Control and diffuse potential problems and assist in emergencies.
• Manage access to the property and restricted areas.
• Respond to calls for assistance immediately.
• Check identification for gaming floor admittance; greet guests professionally.
• Maintain crowd control and defuse incidents.
• Prepare and review written reports; report violations and incidents.
• Conduct investigations with HR as requested.
• Ensure policies are followed during shifts.
• Conduct routine safety inspections; assist with scheduling and payroll.
