Job summary

Colonial Downs Group LLC is seeking a Security Officer for the Rosie's Emporia facility in Virginia. The role requires safeguarding guests and staff, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence inside and outside the venue.

The position is a 3rd shift (11:30 PM – 7:30 AM) with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Candidates should have robust customer service experience and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays while upholding company policies and

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in customer service, law enforcement, military or security.
• Basic computer skills, including Word, and ability to learn new programs.
• Must obtain valid racing license where applicable; may require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of guest service to guests, team members and vendors.
• Ensure the safety of all guests and team members on the property.
• Record investigations and incident reports promptly.
• Patrol the property and maintain a visible security presence.
• Control access to the property and restricted areas.
• Communicate with supervisors and attend training as required.
