Job summary

Cook Solutions Group in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Full-Time Security Service Technician to install and service electronic and physical security systems, travel to client sites, and train customers.

You’ll perform startup, commissioning, surveys, inventory control, and safety compliance while delivering strong customer service. Strong communication and time-management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of electronic and physical security service/installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of security equipment preferred.
• Ability to travel up to a week if necessary.
• Physically able to lift up to 100 pounds and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites for alarm troubleshooting and repairs. Up to a week of travel when necessary.
• Install and service security products, including pulling wire.
• Install and wire electronic equipment in systems.
• Manage installation/service tools, equipment and parts inventory.
• Test installed equipment for performance and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair security equipment.
• Inform management on project status as needed (installation or service).
• Update customers on job status or completion.
• Conduct site surveys upon management request.
• Complete paperwork like timesheets and expense reports promptly.
• Follow purchasing procedures and supervisor approval for stock items.
• Maintain truck stock inventory and report items during audits.
• Safeguard company/customer property and information.
• Ensure company vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
• Maintain safe driving practices.
