Job summary

Cook Solutions Group in Idaho Falls is seeking a Full-Time Security Service Technician. The role involves installing security systems, wiring, site surveys, and on-site service across Idaho Falls or Pocatello, ID.

Expect travel up to a week, and pay between $25–$35 per hour DOE, with strong emphasis on safety and customer service. The job requires a high school diploma, 2–5 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of security equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years security service/installation experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Knowledge of alarm systems, access control, CCTV, drive-up and teller equipment preferred.
• Experience with Bosch, DMP, March DVR, 3VR, Lenel products preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to a week when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites for alarm troubleshooting and repair.
• Install and service electronic and physical security products.
• Install and wire electronic equipment used in systems.
• Account for tools, equipment, and parts; manage inventory.
• Test installed equipment for performance and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair security equipment.
• Provide status updates to management on installation or service.
• Communicate job status with customers.
• Conduct site surveys upon management request.
• Complete required paperwork and timekeeping promptly.
• Follow purchasing procedures for needed products.
• Maintain truck stock inventory and report items during audits.
• Safeguard company/customer property and information.
• Ensure company vehicle is well-maintained and clean.
• Operate company vehicles with safe driving practices.
• Train less experienced employees on procedures and techniques.
• Adhere to CSG quality standards and safety rules.
• Assist in soliciting new business when not on service/installation.
