Job summary

Allied Universal in West Jordan, UT is seeking a Security Officer Screening Specialist to monitor access points, screen individuals and materials, and provide excellent customer service in a logistics setting.

The role requires security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to comply with site policies. This full-time position offers an hourly pay rate and a schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Guard card or license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and/or vehicles entering the location per site requirements.
• Verify credentials, review access authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and report concerns to supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter.
