Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Screener in Ladson, SC. You will screen personnel and visitors, support access control, monitor areas, and report security-related concerns while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ for unarmed positions, and a background check. Shifts include daytime hours at a logistics location with potential for benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with access-control and screening preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or packages in accordance with established access-control and inspection procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, loading areas, and perimeter, and document observations and incidents.
