Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Screening and Access Review in Indianapolis, IN. You will support access screening, monitor entry points, and assist visitors while using computer systems and reporting security concerns.

The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to procedures, and safe, professional conduct in a dynamic logistics and distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures.
• Screen individuals, packages, and permitted items entering designated areas in accordance with procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and report prohibited items or suspicious activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, access points, and perimeter.
