Job summary

Blueline Security Services LLC is seeking a dependable Security Scheduler / Dispatcher to join the operations team in Lanham, MD. You will manage schedules, coordinate coverage, and perform site checks to ensure client posts are staffed and operations run smoothly.

The role requires strong communication, urgency, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required, with some shifts including site checks and occasional shift filling.

Qualifications

• Previous scheduling, dispatch, security operations or administration experience.
• Security industry experience preferred.
• Belfry experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willing to conduct site checks and fill in for shifts as needed.
• Available weekends and holidays; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily scheduling operations and related administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate security officer schedules and post coverage.
• Review schedules daily to ensure all posts are covered.
• Identify shortages and secure coverage quickly.
• Communicate with officers, clients, and management about schedules.
• Coordinate coverage for last-minute call-outs and open shifts.
• Fill in for open shifts when needed; conduct site checks.
