Job description

Provides oversight and guidance with over-all contract security personnel to maintain safety/security of the Centene Stadium Complex to include facilities, grounds, employees, vendors, players, and guests of the facility by preventing trespassing , vandalism, and any other criminal activity . Maintain training and control of the parking facilities under the purview of St. Louis City SC and Centene Stadium . Oversees administrative and management functions when necessary to insure efficient departmental operations. Maintains as directed, physical security items such as key control, card access system, CCTV Systems etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees and maintains Safety /Security personnel training programs.
  • Recommends corrective actions.
  • Conducts inspections and audits to assure quality of service of security and stadium partner personnel.
  • Participates in event planning efforts and coordinates with clients.
  • Approves incident reports as required.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.
  • Review the work performance of contract security personnel.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Oversees contract security personnel and appropriate part time event security team staff.

Education and/or Experience

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, some college is preferred
  • Must be at least 21
  • Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience, preferably in a similar environment
  • Supervisory experience is required

  • Must be able to maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
  • Ability to effectively supervise staff.
  • Ability to communicate with and take direction from immediate supervisor and facility management.
  • Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and interacts with all levels of staff, including management.
  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
  • Ability to handle/resolve high tension situations and interactions with guests who may be acting in an “unruly manner ”.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
  • Must possess professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on events, including daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Some computer experience including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Must obtain all licenses or permits as required by the state, county, or city. Must have a valid driver’s license.
