Job summary

The Peninsula Beverly Hills is seeking an Assistant Director of Security and Operational Risk to help oversee daily security operations and ensure a safe guest, associate, and hotel asset environment. You will help set the level of aggressive hospitality and lead security staff with daily visibility across the hotel.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security teams in hospitality or similar high-end environments.
• CPR/First Aid certification or equivalent emergency response training required.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local laws and hotel policies.
• Ability to conduct and document incident investigations with clear follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Security and Operational Risk in supervising daily security operations.
• Ensure high levels of visibility of security staff to guests and associates.
• Coordinate training on emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Review performance and conduct evaluations for security personnel.
• Manage department scheduling and payroll in alignment with hotel needs.
• Maintain emergency plans and conduct regular fire drills and drills.
• Oversee master key controls and access security across the hotel.
